Terms
Terms of service
Draft: pending legal review
These terms describe the current rules for using Wanderlearn but have not yet been reviewed by counsel. A finalized version will be published before public launch. In the meantime, the points below are accurate to how the service operates today.
Using Wanderlearn means agreeing to a few reasonable things. We've kept them short because no one reads twelve-thousand-word terms documents. The full legal version is coming; these are the plain-language commitments in the interim.
Using the service
- Use Wanderlearn for its intended purpose: learning from place-based courses and, if you're a creator, publishing them.
- Don't abuse the service: no scraping at scale, no attempts to circumvent authentication, no load-testing our endpoints without permission.
- Don't upload content you don't have the rights to, and don't upload content that is illegal where you or the viewer is located.
- Report bugs and abuse through the support channel; don't exploit them.
Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Wanderlearn account. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in methods secure. You can close your account at any time by contacting support; doing so revokes your access and deletes your personal data on a reasonable schedule.
Your content
If you're a creator, you retain all rights to the 360° media, text, and other content you upload. You grant Wanderlearn a license to host, transcode, and deliver that content to learners you've chosen to reach. We never claim ownership. If you close your account, your published courses are unpublished.
Payments and refunds
Paid courses are processed via Stripe. A receipt is emailed on purchase. For refund requests, open a support thread within a reasonable window of purchase; we'll respond case by case. The finalized terms will specify the refund window and conditions.
Changes and contact
We'll update these terms before public launch and when material changes happen afterward. Active users will be notified by email when that occurs. For questions, open a support thread.
